MOUNT PLEASANT MISSION STATEMENT:  The faculty and administration of Mount Pleasant strive to pursue academic excellence in all aspects of student teaching and learning. We believe in the capacity of all students to develop their academic skills and intrinsic motivation for learning. Through the development of a rigorous program of study, our students are empowered to achieve at the highest level. We work to continually develop, implement, and measure progress toward the standards which are aligned with the school district mission statement and the State of Delaware.

A web portal presents information from diverse sources in a unified way.  Since the end of the 2008-2009 school year, the Brandywine School District requires their school web sites to conform to a standard template.  MPHSKnights.com, once the official site for Mount Pleasant High School, is now an online resource maintained independently by the Mount Pleasant Historical Society.  Click HERE for the official Mount Pleasant High School site.
