The Film Club objectives are to...
*
provide students the opportunity to explore the language of film
*
recognize the importance of conveying messages through film elements
*
give students valuable experience in analyzing and producing media
*
learn casting and rehearsal techniques, script, story and scene analysis, and the use of storyboards, art direction and how to deal with key departments and the producer
* produce a documentary feature film for the Wilmington Film Festival

I attended the 'Jack of Clubs' showing on April 26, 2007 at Newark II. 
This was a delightful, family-friendly film that inspires community service.  Filmed in Delaware, the movie provides a 'feel good' attitude for making positive choices that help others. - Clint Dantinne

Getting the Right Scripts into the Right Hands

Mr. Dantinne has a passion for film, story telling and Hollywood special effects.  He has worked at the Disney MGM Studios, observed production of Rocky V on-set, met George Lucas at his Skywalker Ranch, and visited several movie studios & production companies.  He has been on the sets of several productions.  In addition to studying film and keeping current with movie industry news, he was instructed in the Film Director's Craft at the International Film Workshops.
