The 2007-2008 Film Club objectives are to...
*
provide students the opportunity to explore the language of film
*
recognize the importance of conveying messages through film elements
*
give students valuable experience in analyzing and producing media
*
learn casting and rehearsal techniques, script, story and scene analysis, and the use of storyboards, art direction and how to deal with key departments and the producer
* create a movie trailer
using existing film footage, background music, narration, etc (our trailers will be available to view at You Tube)
* produce a film for upcoming film festivals (distribution on DVD)
