Puppets in Education

 

The puppets in education recording objectives are to...
* write scripts with a socially conscious theme targeted to elementary school
* record dialogue using mixer, microphones, and non-linear recorder
* master the soundtrack with sound effects and background music
* practice puppeteering in group sessions and review performance on video monitor
* perform on location at participating elementary schools and community groups

Meet our friends in the Brandywine School District...
 


Emily (melancholic) thinks things out very carefully. She cares about the environment and social causes.


Carlos (phlegmatic) is an easy going boy. He is witty, but does not like to get involved.

Gavin (sanguine) is always the life of the party. He makes people laugh and have fun.


Kylie (choleric) does very well in school. Learning comes easily for her. She has great leadership skills.


Morgan (choleric) is a go-getter. His ambition for work and sports makes him a young success.


Janelle (sanguine) acts silly and makes friends easily. She loves people and jokes all the time.


Mrs. Houston (melancholic) is Janelle's mom and nurse at the Christiana Care Wellness Center.


Mr. Duncan (choleric) is Kylie's dad and police officer in the Wilmington Police Department.


Mr. Bixby (sanguine) is a postal worker at the Claymont Post Office. He knows everyone in the community.


Mr. Mitchell (melancholic) is a firefighter at the Talleyville Fire Co. He is very brave and helps others.


Hank (phlegmatic) rides a motorcycle. Even though he looks like a tough guy, he likes adventure has a good heart.

Mr. Lopez (melancholic) is a chef at the elementary school cafeteria. He came to the United States from Puerto Rico when he was younger.


Marvin (sanguine) is our favorite primate. Although he doesn't talk, he speaks volumes with his curious antics. He lives at the Brandywine Zoo.
