SCHOOL TO WORK TRANSITION
 
Special Services and Programs provides assistance with school-to-work and transition issues.

The program provides tools, resources and education for staff and students.

I'm available to assist in employability training, travel training and to visit with employers to provide support for our special education students in the world of work.

Career Expo 2007

Mount Pleasant High School hosted our first Career Expo on February 27, 2007 coordinated by Joyce Kaufmann of the School to Work program.  Exhibitors included Allied Health, Art Museum, Assistive Technology, Banking, Broadcasting School, DE River Bay Authority, Food Service, Human Resources, Modeling, Office Support Services, Park Services, Psychologist, School Para Professionals, School Radio Station, School Superintendent and Board Members, Special Education, Speech Pathologist, Sportscaster, Transportation, and Zoo.
 
Mount Pleasant High School hosted our second Career Expo on October 30, 2007.
